This time capsule brings images from an adventure that seems so recent and is still very clear in my mind.
Twelve months ago last week I was no longer in Australia, having set out in search of my new life.
It began very comfortably with a diving trip to the Philippines accompanying my best friend, Joepi. We undertook my first really big dive experience at Tubbataha and this has fueled my desire to do a lot more diving, albeit not without my mate - the only person I fully trust underwater.
Joeps is still based in Manila, whilst gallivanting all over the place in search of Nudis and other underwater wildness. I'm very settled in Ho Chi Minh City with new friends and a very exciting future ahead of me. I try to get to the Philippines at least once a year to experience what must be close to the best diving in the world in one very easily accessible location.
Next week brings twelve months for me in Vietnam. I wonder if I should celebrate? There are many reasons to do so, and I look forward to sharing them with you very soon.
